My heart is overflowing with gratitude as I look back on the two-day leadership conference we hosted in Houston, Texas, on August 21st-22nd. When God intends to elevate someone, He connects them with a network of people who possess special graces. God has been kind to us on The How Platform. We are thankful for all the attendees and guest speakers who shared their hearts, wisdom, experience, strategies, and anointing. We deeply appreciate all our volunteers who tirelessly supported us through prayers, planning, and execution to make the event successful.
As I reflect on the leadership weekend experience that focuses on the Journey to Identity, a couple of words remain in my heart, when it comes to effective leadership with self, family, business, team, or even career. You are productive in the area of your calling. Progress is better than perfection and don't be afraid to start small. Trust, Compassion, and care are key to building effective team. Leaders focus on the mission, vision, and the big picture! When you stare too close to the screen, you see the details, but you miss the big picture.
